A Long History as One of Ocean County’s Senior Tax and Invesment Counselors.
After graduating from California State University, Long Beach in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance/investments, I returned to the east coast to work at one of Wall Street’s biggest brokerage firms. Here, I traded stocks, bonds, and mutual funds and developed a strategy for personal financial planning.
Five years later, I opened my own practice as an independent personal financial planner and tax preparer in Toms River, NJ. Since then, it has been my mission to provide unbiased advice and highly personalized service at reasonable fees.
Born in Kansas, my family and I moved to Ocean County in 1971 when my father was transferred to Lakehurst Naval Air Station, following a five-year assignment in Guam. After graduating from the Toms River school system, I headed west for college. However, I missed the Jersey Shore and came “home” to launch my career.
Now a resident of Toms River, When not working, my favorite pastimes include traveling, reading, long-distance cycling, ice hockey, and running.
I am also passionate about raising funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and I participate in numerous MS fundraiser bike tours throughout the country. My clients are among my most avid contributors, and I (and the MS Society) am deeply indebted to them for their generosity.
